Chinese language and literature.

Venue

Headquartered in Beijing, China. Field trips to the Great Wall, Tiananmen Square, Ming Tombs, Temple of Heaven, other temples, Bejing Opera, music concerts, acrobatics show.

Living Arrangements

Students live in host institution dormitories. Quarters are shared with host institution students. Meals are taken on one's own, in central dining facility, in restaurants.

Requirements

Minimum age 18; open to sophomores, juniors, seniors; course work in one Chinese area studies course recommended; 2.75 GPA; 1 letter of recommendation; good academic standing at home school; evaluation should be from a language professor; 1 year of college course work in Mandarin Chinese.
