Headquartered in Monteverde, Costa Rica. Scheduled travel to Corcovado National Park, Santa Rosa National Park; field trips to San José, Carara National Park.

Living Arrangements

Students live in host family homes, a biological station, hostels, tents. Quarters are shared with host institution students. Meals are taken as a group, in residences, in central dining facility, in restaurants.

Requirements

Minimum age 18; open to sophomores, juniors, seniors; course work in 1 semester biology; 2.75 GPA; 1 letter of recommendation; good academic standing at home school; 1 additional semester of biology, ecology, or environmental science recommended; some Spanish recommended.
